Cecelia Sue Brown Gambrel

Cecelia Sue Brown Gambrel, age 80, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Baptist Health in Corbin.
She was born in Corbin a daughter to the late Herman Cecil Carter and Minnie Suzie Parman Carter;  She was  a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church and was retired from the Corbin Health Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Otis Brown; second Husband, Robert Gambrel; Daughter, Tammy Davis; Brothers, Charles Carter and Bo Carter; Sisters, Etta Bingham and Wanda Poynter; half Brothers, Raymond and Delbert Strange.
Sue is survived by her Sister, Annie Ridener; special Daughters, Vicki Sawyers and Debbie Carr; Grandsons, Josh Combs and Mark Combs; many nieces and nephews including her caregivers, Ricky Carr Sr., Ricky Carr Jr. and Brittany Carr; her "Special Girls", Macy Carr, Braylee "Little Sue" Carr and Harley ‶Baby″ Carr; and special Niece, Leona "Sissy" Brown; and by her dog, Roxy and cat, ole Yeller.
Visitation will be on Tuesday August 13, 2019 from 12noon until 2pm at Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Rockholds, KY.  Her funeral service will follow at 2pm at the Church with Rev. Jimmie Logan officiating.
Burial will follow in the McNeil Cemetery in Rockholds.
