Cecil Mae Mabe, age 79, of Little Indian Creek in Woodbine, passed away on Monday August 12, 2024, at her home.
She was born in Pineville, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Cecil and Belle Mills. Cecil was a retired forklift operator from CTA Acoustics having worked for over 35years. Cecil loved being with her family especially her Grand Babies.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wayne Mabe in May of 2019, and by her sister, Christine Richmond.
She is survived by her children, Billy Ray Mabe, Lisa Porter, Douglas Mabe, Tressa Long (Kenny), and Billy Christopher Mabe; grandchildren, Brandon, D.J., Luke, Cecilia, Lauren, Mercedes, and Robby; great grandchildren, Abby, Conner, Bailey, Brody, Chris, Kylie, Milli, Maddie, Tucker, Noah, Eli, Ellie, Anderson, Hadley, Cambri, Weston, Avery, and Emersyn; sisters, Patricia, Francena, Janice, and Joyce; and by many other family members and many friends.
Visitation will be from 1-3pm on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Her funeral service will begin at 3pm on Wednesday, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, with Bro. Bo Miracle officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mabe Cemetery in Knox County, Kentucky.
