Charles Bryan Tye

Charles Bryan Tye, 60, formerly of Corbin, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 at his home at Lexington. He was the son of the late Charles E. and Janis Leake Tye of Corbin. A nephew, Seth Kretzer, also preceded him in death. Bryan was a retired electrician with Arrow Electric. He was Baptist by faith and belonged to the Sons of American Legion Post 88 and the American Legion Riders. He is survived by his daughter Karolyn Marie Tye Roberts and husband Jared; grandson Charles Carter Roberts; granddaughter Clara Annabeth Roberts; his companion Sharon Hensley; sisters Bridgett Tye Storms and Beth Tye Kretzer and husband Blane, both of Corbin; a niece Jessica Mason and husband Brian and family; nephews Steven Noe and family, and Cameron Kretzer. Bryan's visitation will begin at 5:00pm Tuesday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. His funeral will follow there at 7:00pm with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.
