Charles R. 'Charlie' Maxey

Charles R. "Charlie" Maxey, age 58, of Corbin, passed away on Thursday March 2, 2017 at his home.
He was born in London, Kentucky and was preceded in death by his Father, Charles K. Maxey.
Charlie was an avid sports fan and fisherman.
A loving and devoted Son, Father, and Grandfather, he is survived by his Mother, Josie Baker Maxey; Children; Candice Privett and husband Anthony; Lyndsay Floyd and husband David; Allison Maxey; Charles Daniel Maxey; and Katelyn Maxey; Grandchildren; Bailey Miles, Aiden Miles, Kylie Privett, and Trenton Floyd; and by many family and friends including Susie McHargue, Blair Apgar, and Jim Sanders.
Funeral service for Charlie Maxey will be held at 10am on Monday March 6, 2017 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, with Rev. Lynn Dotson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin.
