Charles Ray Davidson

Charles Ray Davidson, age 89, of Corbin, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Corbin Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on December 16, 1933, in Knox County, Ky, he was a son to the late Taylor J. Davidson and Isabella Gilbert Davidson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Davidson, and a grandson, AJ Rose.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janice Davidson, two children, Douglas Davidson (Carla) and Dawn Davidson, grandchildren, Amanda, Charles W., Johnathon, Carleigh, Tiffany, Jodi, and Zack, great-grandchildren, Billy A., Ava, James, Hadlee, Abbi, Mia, and Carlyn, a special nephew, Gary Disney, and by a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Per Charlie's request, there will be no service arrangements, but we ask that you keep his family and friends in your prayers in the days and weeks to come. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him and called him a friend. His family is at peace knowing that he is resting in the arms of Jesus, where they will be reunited with him soon.
