Charles Ray Mcfarland Sr.

Charles Ray McFarland, Sr., age 76, of Mason, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at UC Health in West Chester Ohio.
Born in Corbin, Kentucky he was the son of the late Alex and Beulah Eaton McFarland. He was a gifted musician and played in the band NIBROC. Charles was also a machine operator and worked for OPW for 45 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Noonan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Ely McFarland; Son, Charles "Chuck" McFarland and wife Trish; Granddaughter, Abbey McFarland; Siblings, Glenn McFarland and wife Pat, Shirley Lamping and husband Paul, Sara Honican and husband Kevin, Etta Gould and husband Terry, Kim Nickell and husband Mark, and Daryl McFarland and wife Dawn; and by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will all mourn his passing.
Funeral Service for Charles will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur McFarland officiating. Burial will follow in the McFarland Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM on Thursday, May 6th at the funeral home.
