Charlie Mills

Charlie Mills, 65, of Gray, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 19, 2005 after battling a short illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Dicy Mills; two brothers, Clyde Mills and Elige Mills of Ohio; and two sisters, Amanda Bargo of Gray, and Bertie Evans of Ohio; and one great-grandson, Damian Hollingsworth.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Elliott Mills, Gray, KY; one son, Ricky Mills and wife Tracy of Gray, KY; three daughters, Debbie Hollingsworth and husband Ronnie of Gray, KY, Diana Metzger and husband Brian of Corbin, and Janie O'Kuma and husband Johnathan of Gray, KY. He has nine grandchildren: Ronnie (Pete) Hollingsworth and wife Misty, Travis Hammons, Josh Hollingsworth, Nick Mills, Jacob and Noah Metzger, Madison and Bailee O'Kuma, Saxon Shelton O'Kuma; and three great-grandchildren: Zoe Hollingsworth, Haleigh Guinn and Kortlyn Hacker. His survivors also include one sister, Bell Neal and husband Sonny of Ohio; mother-in-law, Linnie Elliott; and three sisters-in-law, Louise Terrell and husband Joe of Woodbine, Amanda Mills and Zelma Mills of Ohio; and a host of family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be from 6 - 9 pm Saturday, May 21, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday, May 22, at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kenny Johnson, Rev. Claude Medlin, Rev. Jimmy Elliott and Rev. R.P. Edwards officiating. Burial will be at the Grays Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James Carroll, Harrison Carter, Ronnie Hollingsworth, Brian Metzger, Johnathan O'Kuma, Ronnie Hollingsworth, Jr., Travis Hammons, Josh Hollingsworth, Nick Mills, Jacob Metzger, Saxon Shelton O'Kuma, Noah Metzger and Mike Elliott.
