Christeen Bell Brantley

Christeen Bell Tucker Brantley, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Born in Corbin, she was the daughter of the late James Tucker and Orpha Wilson Tucker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Amos, Luther, Joe, Thomas and Herman Tucker; and by two granddaughters.
She is survived by her children: Leslie Hatfield and wife Debra, Martha Gunn and husband Bruce, and Billy Brantley; four grandchildren: Cole, Michael, Sean, and Avalyn; sisters: Eslie Sawyers and husband Dulano of Norwood, Ohio; Maxine West and husband Herschel of Indianapolis; and Irene Sowder of Eubanks, Kentucky; brother, Oscar Tucker and wife Sheryl of Alexandria, Kentucky; and by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 23, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Burial will be in the Locust Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jamie Poole, Jordan Brantley, Leslie Hatfield, Dakota Sowder, and Ricky Sowder.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
