Clair Regina Moore

Clair Regina Moore, age 79, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at her home.

Born in Deerfield, NH, she was the daughter of the late Robert Florence and Ruth Walker Florence. Clair was a passionate and talented cook; she owned both catering and restaurant businesses. While service was her profession, it was also how she lived her life. In her eyes everyone was family, and everyone was welcome in her home. She strived to make sure nobody around her went hungry or was in need. She never met a stranger and will be dearly missed by so many.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles A. Moore.

Clair is survived by five children, Ruth Regina Broyles, Renee Roberta Huggins, Robin Moore, Ronald Charles Moore, and Rachael Victoria Wall, 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a brother, Robert Oscar Florence.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-9:00 pm on Friday, September 23, 2022, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the funeral home with Bishop Mike McLaughlin officiating.

Burial will follow in McFarland Cemetery in Corbin, KY.
