Clara Muncy Jones

Clara Muncy Jones, age 98, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2004 in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
Born March 31, 1906 in Clay County, Kentucky to the late William Luther and Laura Belle Cox Muncy, she taught school for 50 years and retired from the states of Kentucky and Florida. She earned her Teaching Degree at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond and her Masters Degree from the Univeristy of Kentucky in Lexington. Her hobby was sewing.
Preceding Mrs. Jones in death are her parents, her husband Cloyde "Cam" C. Jones, two sisters Cleo Cottongim and Mae Corum, and one brother Maynard Muncy.
She is survived by a sister, Edith M. Bozarth of Sarasota, Florida; two nieces, Joan Gilbert of Crawfordsville, Indiana and Audra Sea of Lebanon, Kentucky; a nephew, Robert D. Bozarth of Sarasota, Florida; great-nieces, Sharon D. Epps of Odessa, Florida and Casey Staggs of Louisville, Kentucky; and great-nephews, Thomas A. Gilbert, Jr. of Frankenmuth, Michigan, Lt. Cooper Bozarth and Lt. Macey Bozarth of San Antonio, Texas.
Funeral services are at 1:00 pm Saturday, July 17, 2004 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
