Claude Edward Chumley, Jr.

Claude E. Chumley, Jr., age 62, of Corbin, passed away on Friday, Jan. 17, 2014 at Baptist Health Corbin.
Born in Corbin, he was the son of the late Claude E. Chumley, Sr., and Nora Faulkner Chumley Fox. He was a tool and die worker for Jackson MSC. Claude was a drummer and enjoyed country music, basketball, wrestling, boxing and raising game chickens. His religious preference was Full Gospel.
Claude is survived by two sons: Claude E. Chumley, III and wife Nichole of Corbin, and Jeff D. Chumley of Keavy; grandchild, Crolee Chumley; sister, Onna Keys of Nicholasville; companion of 15 years, Mary Dotson; nieces, Stacy Oliver and Lisa Bell; great-nieces, Kylee, Mya and Aleah; and step-father, Robert F. Fox.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, Jan. 22nd, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, Jan. 21st, at the funeral home.
