Clayton Gene Gilbert

Clayton Gene Gilbert, age 74, of Corbin, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at the Christian Health Care Center in Corbin.
He was born on May 31, 1931 in Laurel County, the son of the late William Lester and Mary Gilbert. He was a self-employed owner of Somerset Oil, and he was a Baptist by Faith.
He is survived by his Wife, Billie Frances Gilbert; Children, Ben Gilbert and wife Jewell of Dry Ridge, Vickie Wagner and husband Danne, Brenda Gray and husband Randy, and Joe Roskopf all of Corbin; His Sister, Aileen Gilbert of Corbin; Grandchildren, Staci Shriner and husband B.J. of Williamsburg, Joey Gilbert of Cincinnati, Scarlet Wagner of Corbin, Brittany Gray of Corbin, Dustin Gilbert of Dry Ridge, Joseph Roskopf of Corbin, and Misty Brooke Roskopf of Corbin; and One Great Grandson his "Little Buddy" Caleb Shriner.
The family will received friends from 12noon Monday until the time of the Funeral at 2pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery in Faber.
