Cleda Earlene Parks

Cleda Earlene Parks, age 47, of Corbin, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2011, at her residence.
Born in Dayton, Ohio, she was a retired lab technician at Baptist Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Chapel Grove Baptist Church and also attended Rivers Edge Church.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cleda and Daniel McVey; and her children's father, Ricky Wayne Parks.
She is survived by two children, Shaunna Lynn Parks and Franklin Adam Parks of Corbin; grandchild, Alexis Danielle Gray of Corbin; mother, Betty Ann Wilson of Corbin; father, Charles Dotson of Dayton, Ohio; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends, including special friend, Tony Paul, all who mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be at 2pm on Saturday, November 12, at Chapel Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Mark McVey and Rev. J.J. Helton officiating. Burial will be in the Terrell Cemetery with first cousins and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends after 6pm, Friday, Nov. 11, at Chapel Grove Baptist Church, Route 6, Wilton.
Arrangements are by the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
