Cleda Hinkle Mcvey

Cleda Hinkle McVey, age 84, of Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Monday, August 28, 2006 at the Oak Tree Hospital in Corbin.
She was born on July 30, 1922 in Knox County to the late Arthur Hinkle and Edna Messer Hinkle. Cleda was a loving Mother and homemaker. She was Baptized at Dripping Spring Baptist Church on Calebs Creek, Knox County and attended the Chapel Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband, Daniel McVey; 4 Brothers, Clark, Homer, Earl, and H.C. Hinkle; and by two Sisters, Ethel Mitchell and Ruby Young.
She is survived by her Children, Randel McVey and wife Brenda of Bellbrook, OH; Betty Ann Wilson of Corbin, Mary Lynn Beverly and husband Bill of Dayton, OH, and Danna Sue Durham and husband Donnie of Corbin; 8 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great Great-Grandchildren, and she was anticipating the birth of two additional Great Grandchildren; Two Brothers, Cleveland and Dennis Hinkle; and two Sisters, Margaret Bays and Patricia Pokki. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends who will mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be on Thursday, August 31, 2006 at 2pm at the Chapel Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Owen Smith and Rev. Mark R. McVey officiating. Burial will follow in the Terrell Cemetery.
Visitation from 6-9pm on Wednesday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, and on Thursday from Noon until 2pm at the Chapel Grove Baptist Church.
