Cleta Mae Henderson

Cleta Mae Henderson, age 70, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Baptist Health Corbin.

Born in Whitley County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Roy Henson and Sarah McNeil Henson. Cleta was a lifelong caregiver. She devoted herself to nurturing many family members and friends. Regardless of the situation, she always remained patient and loving, never turning away someone in need of her help.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Billy Henson and Carl Henson.

She is survived by her children, Sarah Wright, Jeffrey Henderson, and Jessie Henderson; by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and by many close friends, who she viewed as sisters.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm on Saturday.
