Conny R. Jump

Conny R. Jump, 78, of Corbin passed away Friday morning, September 16, 2016 at his home.
Born in Corbin, he was a son of the late George and Rhoda Taylor Jump. Brothers Wendell and Don Jump also preceded him in death.
Conny served in the U.S. Air Force before becoming a locomotive engineer with the Pennsylvania Railroad. He returned to Corbin later and worked for the L&N/CSX Railroad until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Taylor Jump; sons Ron Jump and wife Anita of Ft. Thomas, and Sean Jump and wife Bethany of Corbin; a grandson David Jump and fiancée Sarah Francis of Prestonsburg; a sister Wanda Jones and husband Jack of Corbin; brother Wayne Jump and wife Joann of Wapakoneta, OH; and several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Conny's visitation will be from 6 until 8pm Monday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at 10am Tuesday at Rest Haven Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 88 honor guard.
