Cora Alma Lowe

Cora Lowe, 72, of Corbin, passed away on Wednesday, May 6,2015, at Baptist Health Corbin.
Born in Knox County, she was the daughter of the late John and Amanda Henson Wynn. Cora was a homemaker and was Pentecostal by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Harvey Wynn, Chester Wynn, and Lou Cagle, and sisters Sallie Lawson, Alberta Wynn, Roberta Wynn, Kotha West, and Polly Wynn.
She is survived by her husband Ernest Lowe; two children Johnny Lowe (Shirley) and Lisa Lowe and boyfriend Eddie Butt; grandchildren: Jonathan and Josh Lowe, Rebecca Hensley, Anthony Brock, Ronnie Hensley, Angela Napier, J. R. Chancellor, and Susie Elliott; sisters: Jessie Wynn, Mary Jones, Frances Bays, and Wilma Reynolds; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends, including special niece Ruby Jones.
The funeral service will be at 2pm on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Friday at the funeral home.
