Cora Anna Turnbill Rose

Cora Anna Turnbill Rose, 94, of Columbus, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at her home.
She was born in Wallsend, Kentucky,  on October 7, 1923, the daughter of Jack and Ella Mills Turnbill. She married Albert Rose December 6, 1941 in  Corbin, Kentucky; he preceded her in death on June 24, 2001.
Cora loved family get togethers and enjoyed being with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by  her daughter, Pamela R. Albert ( Dennis) of Columbus; son, Larry G. Rose (Missy) of Havelock, NC; sister, Lela Helton of Flat Lick, KY; brother, Charles Jack Turnbill (Carol) of Michigan;  and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and several siblings.
Her funeral will be held at 3 pm Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with her family members leading the service.  Burial will follow at the Merrimac Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 1 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
