Creasie E. 'Peggy' Crawford

Creasie E. "Peggy" Crawford, 87, of Corbin, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2010, at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
Born in Knox County, she was the daughter of the late Alex Zander Helton and Louetta Mabes Helton. She had worked as a seamstress and was a member of Bethel Apostolic Church in Lily.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Robert Crawford; and by several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son, Harry Ed Pridemore and wife Margaret of South Carolina; and by six grandchildren, Margaret, Maria, Jessica, Eddie, Matthew and Johnny.
Funeral service will be at 9:30 am Wednesday, June 9, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, with Bro. Kenneth Welch officiating. Burial will follow in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens at Lily.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Tuesday, June 8, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street, Corbin, KY.
