Dallas Ray Phipps

Dallas Ray Phipps, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at his residence in Gray, KY.
Born in Corbin, he was the son of the late Will Junior Phipps and Nora Phipps. He was a coal miner and was Pentecostal by faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, David Phipps and Orville Phipps; and by his sister, Carolyn Phipps.
He is survived by his daughter, Delilah Hensley; brothers, Dennis Phipps and wife Judy and Daniel "Boone" Phipps, all of Gray; sister, Cathy Brown and husband Preston of Bimble; three grandchildren, Patricia, Sheila and Travis Hensley; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends, all to mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be at 2pm Saturday, May 18th, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Phipps Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Friday, May 17th, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
