Dallas W. Hartline

November 1, 1925 — February 14, 2007

Dallas W. "Charlie" Hartline, 81, of Corbin, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center.
Born November 1, 1925 in Deers Head Cove, Alabama, he was the son of the late Clearence and Marjorie Payne Hartline. He was a Seaman 1st Class in the U.S. Navy having served in both WWII and Vietnam and was Baptist by faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Louise Pattinson, Thelma Thurston, and Mamie and Patsy.
He is survived by his daughter Debbie Sturgill of Corbin; his son, Dallas Hartline Jr. of Florida; four grandchildren, Misty Siler, Bobby Lynn Sturgill, Timothy Sturgill, and Aaron Sturgill; five great-grandchildren, Rio, Tristin, Dalton, Ayden and Rosalie; two sisters, Ruby Inez of New York and Mallie Beach of Hixson, Tennessee; and a host of loving nieces and nephews who mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be at 12 Noon on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Rising Fawn, Georgia.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Friday, Feb. 16, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
