Danny Wade Raines

Danny Wade Raines, 48, of Corbin, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2007, at the Baptist Regional Medical Center.
Born December 26, 1958 in Charleston, West Virginia, he was the son of Ira Wade Raines and Vanice Jane Deskins Raines. He was a self-employed landscaper.
Danny was preceded in death by his father Ira Wade Raines; and his grandparents, Carlos and Alice Deskins and Duffy and Marzetta Raines.
He is survived by his mother, Vanice Jane Raines of Corbin; two brothers, Adrian Allen Raines and wife Wilma Jean and Terry Raines and wife Debra, all of Corbin; uncles, Roy Deskins, Richard Deskins and Jimmy Deskins, all of Corbin; aunts, Donna Todd, Pennie Ferrell, and Debbie Chambers, all of West Virginia; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends who mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, February 8, 2007 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Harmon officiating. Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Wednesday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
