Darlene Robinson

Darlene Robinson, age 77, formerly of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Laurel Heights in London, Kentucky.

She was born in Woodbine, KY, a daughter of the late Shafter Robinson and Florence Barton Robinson. Darlene was a homemaker and an active member of the First Apostolic Church of Corbin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Robinson, brothers, Johnny Robinson, Rondal Robinson, and Edward Robinson, and by a granddaughter, Marie McDonald.

Darlene is survived by her children, Jerry Robinson, Shirley McDonald, Terry Robinson, Eddie Robinson, and Kathy Roark, eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and by many other relatives, friends, her church family, and by special friend, Gail Engle.

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Friday, April 28, 2023, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

Burial will follow in the Corn Creek Cemetery.
