David Eugene Helton

David Eugene Helton, age 72, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Saturday October 23, 2021 at the Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington. He was retired owner/operator of the former Helton Oil Co. in Corbin and loved old cars and racing especially drag racing. David was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Helton and Margie Scalf Helton. He is survived by his wife, Carol Reeves Helton; children, Missy Helton Baker and husband Ernest, and Michelle Helton Osborne; grandchildren, Kristen Baker and Tyler Baker; brothers, Joe Helton and wife Michelle of Corbin, and John Helton and Mark Helton both of Albany, KY; and by several nieces, nephews, aunts, family, and friends. Visitation for David Eugene Helton will be from 1-3pm on Wednesday October 27, 2021 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will be at 3pm on Wednesday with Rev.
