David T. Disney

David T. Disney, age 81, of Gray, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013, at UT Hospital in Knoxville.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Erlene Sizemore Disney; Parents, Walter Lee Disney and Effie Veona Fannon Disney; Brothers, Ray J.R. Disney and Dallas Wayne Disney; Sister, Shelby Jean Disney; Brothers-in-law, Eugene Johnson and Harvey Tubbs.
David was a member and Deacon at 17th Street Christian Church in Corbin; was a retired Supervisor with the Whitley County Water Dept. He was also a United States Marine Veteran.
He is survived by his Siblings: Ellen Baldasare and husband Louis of Corbin; Martha Maranda Sanders and husband Rodger of McMinville, TN; James Lee "Jim" Disney and wife Mary Elizabeth of Gray; Anna Lois Johnson of Corbin; and Patricia Gail Tubbs of Gray;  Sister- in-law, Emily Burke and husband Carmel of Lily; Brother-in-law, Harold Dean Sizemore and wife Virginia of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews, including Special Niece, Sherry Smith and Nephew, Everett Sizemore; two God Children, James David Disney and Terriann Lynn Jones.
Funeral service for David Disney will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, February 24, 2013, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Martin, Rev. Dave Futrell, and Rev. Sean Disney officiating. Burial will follow in the McHargue Cemetery in Laurel County with Military Honors by the American Legion Post #88 of Corbin. Pall bearers will be James Walter Spalding, James Ryan Tubbs, Gregory Todd McFadden, James David Disney, Wayne Eugene Johnson and John Walter Johnson. Honorary Pall bearers will be Marvin Craig, Rick Thornsberry, Ralph Gregory, Gary Bennett, Dan Plumley, and Darrell Watson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 6-9pm and on Sunday from 2-3pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home
