David Wayne Jones

David Wayne Jones, age 52, of Corbin, passed away on Monday, August 27, 2012, at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Bell County and was a member of the Deliverance Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Jones, and Arthur and Marie Jordan; and two aunts, Sue Ackers and her husband Dennis and Dolly Carnes and her husband Ben.
David is survived by his parents, Johnny and Jean Jordan Jones; brothers and sisters, Doug Jones and wife Kim of Williamsburg, Earnest Jones, Eric Jones and wife Kaye, and Karen Melton, all of Corbin; nephew, Shane York of Corbin; and all his friends and family of Corbin and Pineville.
Funeral service will be at 2pm Thursday, August 30, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Connatser of Knoxville and Bro. Richard Rogers officiating. Burial will be in the McFarland Cemetery in West Corbin.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Wednesday, August 29, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street, Corbin, KY.
