Debra Etta Poynter Helton

Debra Etta Poynter Helton, age 65, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Tuesday November 30, 2021 at her home in Corbin, KY. She was a retired school teacher and a gifted pianist having played at many local churches and was currently the pianist for Echo Valley Voice of the Nazarene. Debra was born in Corbin to the late Homer Poynter and Wanda Carter Poynter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Michael Edward Poynter. She is survived by her sons, Adam Campbell (Cher) of Corbin and Jonathan Campbell (Corilynn) of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Megan Campbell, Jonathan Campbell Jr., Erin Campbell, Myles Campbell, and Madison Campbell; and by great grandchildren, Maddix Hill and Kadon Hill. Visitation will be from 12-2pm on Sunday December 5, 2021 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will be at 2pm with Rev. Adam Fuson officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
