Delano Mcfarland

Delano McFarland, 61, of London, passed away on Monday, Nov. 12, 2007 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center.
Born in Laurel County, he was the son of the late Martin McFarland and Virginia Spurlock McFarland. He was a member of the Oak Ridge United Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Carrie McFarland; son, Steve McFarland; brother, Stanley McFarland; sisters, Geraldine Harris and Sandra Lynn; grandchildren, Amanda Best, Alicia Best, James Miracle and Anthony Revera; great-grandchild, Hayley Faye Byrley; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be at 12 Noon Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Hollons officiating. Burial will follow in the McHargue Cemetery.
The family of Delano McFarland will receive friends from 6-9 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
