Dennis R. Pierce

Dennis Ray Pierce, age 46, of Gray, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014 at Baptist Health Corbin.
Born in Modesto, California, he was a veteran of the Army National Guard; a pressman at the Barbourville Advocate; and a member of the East Barbourville Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Cole Pierce; children: Brian Faber (Seherzada "Bada") of Lexington, Lindsay Michelle Faber of Lexington, and Elizabeth "Lil Bit" Lorene Faber of Gray; parents: James Marvin Pierce and Betty Sellers Pierce; mother-in-law, Georgia Rucker of Gray; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Linda and Sammy Mills of Gray; Elizabeth Warren of Gray; Betty and Ronnie Sulfridge of Corbin; Danny and Michele Cole of Tennessee; Ralph and Marie Cole of Corbin; Eddie and Lisa Cole of North Carolina; and James and Leslie Smith of Cynthiana; uncle and aunt, Jimmy and Linda Sellers; cousins: Chris Sellers, Michelle Taylor, and Stacey Adams.
Funeral service will be at 2pm on Saturday, Jan. 11th, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Hammons and Rev. Herschel Walker officiating. Burial will be in the Clouse Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm on Friday, Jan. 10th, at the funeral home.
