Diana Lynn Alsip

Diana Lynn Alsip, age 67, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday February 13, 2024.

Born in Corbin, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Hubert Cox and Juanita Hart Cox.  Diana was a homemaker and member of Woodbine Christian Church.  She loved being with her family and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.  Diana loved being at the lake, crafting, and baking especially the cakes she made for her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Michael Edward Cox, Wallace Dean Cox, and Bobby Joe Cox.

Diana is survived by her loving husband, Lee Alsip; two daughters, Cynthia Jordan (Sean), and Jennifer Lynn Alsip; eight grandchildren, Brandon Jordan (Amanda), Jeremy Jordan, Samantha Jordan, Eryn Hamblin, Nathan Hamblin, Carrie Hamblin, Zoey Hamblin, and Zachary Hamblin; two great grandchildren, Finnlee and Jade Jordan; siblings, Brenda Hall (Jack), Helen Green, Sharon Mayne (Terry), Patsy Cobb, Roger Cox, and William Cox; and by a host of other family and many friends including special friends, Usha Patil and Janie Hensley.

Visitation for Diana Alsip will be on Tuesday February 20, 2024, from 11am until 1pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday.  Burial will follow in the Bark Camp Cemetery in Whitley County.
