Donald Neff

Donald Neff, age 86, of Corbin went to be with Jesus on Saturday, February 9, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wiley and America Ferguson Neff; Brother, Carson Neff; Sisters, Mary Neff Green, Odie Neff Green, Ida Neff Cornett, Vennie Neff Daniel, Mollie Neff Pullen, and Ollie Neff Russell, and by his Special Mother in law, Elizabeth Pridemore.
Donald was retired from International Harvesters in Louisville, was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church, and was a US Army Veteran.
He is survived by his Wife of almost 62years, Mary Edna Taylor Neff who he married on March 7, 1951; Brothers, Chester Neff of Bean Station, TN, and Earnest Neff of Cawood, KY; Sisters, Maxie Martin of Ponce DeLeon, FL and Dollie Dugger of Butler, TN; a host of nieces and nephews, and by two special Brother in laws, Lewis Taylor of Gainesville, FL and Jerry Pridemore of Corbin.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, February 14, 2013, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Post #88 of Corbin.
Visitation will be from 6-9 pm on Wednesday, February 13th, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
