Donnie Ray Osborne, Sr., age 72, of Corbin, passed away at his home on Sunday, August 4, 2024.
Donnie was a loyal friend, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and a compassionate soul, cherished for his unwavering faith, and devotion to his wife and family. He was a truck driver for 29 years; Donnie's journey was not just limited to the asphalt beneath the 18 wheels. It was a spiritual journey, guided by his profound faith in God and a desire to serve others.
His love for Harley-Davidson was not just about the iconic motorcycles, but what they symbolized: freedom, individuality, and the thrill of the open road. Donnie Osborne embodied this ethos, his life a testament to the power of forward motion, both on the road and in his personal life.
In the last 20 years of his life, Donnie, along with his beloved wife Wanda, transformed their love for travel into a divine mission. They embarked on a journey, not merely of sightseeing, but of spiritual growth and service, traveling for the Lord in ministry.
Donnie was preceded in death by his sons, Donnie Ray "Donk" Osborne, Jr., and Johnny Ray Neely; and his brother, Curtis Lee Hall.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Brock Osborne; daughter, Lisa Cowan (Scott) of Kingsport, TN; sisters Shirley Jo Hall and Henrietta Osborne of Cawood, KY; grandchildren, Kaylin Saylor (Jeremiah) of Richmond, KY and their son Lincoln, Morgan Keck (Braden) of Richmond, KY, Loren Osborne of Corbin, KY, Madison Cowan of Kingsport, TN, Dylan Cowan of Kingsport, TN, Katelynn Neely-Tolle (Jaylen), Conner Neely, and Kelsey Neeley; daughter-in-law, Tammy Osborne of Corbin, KY; step-children, Christie Daniels (Michael), Chris Baker (Amanda), Sharon Stewart (Robbie), Tonya Helton (Sid), Pam Browning, and Tony Dean (Tina); step-grandchildren, Shawn Browning, Josh Shelton (Chelsey), Billydean Shelton (Kerri), Tony James (Rhonda), Jimmy Allen (Carrie), Jerod Blevins (Katelin), Caleb Blevins, Blake Blevins, Danielle Hall, Micah Hall, and Hannah Phillips (Joseph); and a host of great grandchildren.
