Dorothy Jean Mills

Dorothy Jean Mills, 84, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at her home in Gray, KY.
Born in Knox County, she was the daughter of the late Authur and Pauline Smith Medlin. Dorothy was a homemaker, Baptist by faith, and she loved cooking, and loved being with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Mills, and by two daughters, Donna Kay Mills and Frankie Mills.
Dorothy is survived by her children: Vivian Sue Lawson, Ersie Jean Rains and husband Jerry, Thelma Trent, Marshall Mills and wife Carol, Marvin Mills, and Amy Mills and husband Eddie; grandchildren: Bruce Steele and wife Misty, Ashley Lawson Gray, Frank Rains, Jerry L. Rains, Eddie Trent, Josh Earls, Marvin Mills and wife Sebrina, John Mills and fiancé Jessie, Jaclyn Hollin and fiancé Ryan, Cadance Mills and Cameron Mills; great-grandchildren; Derek Steele, Briana Steele and fiancé Eddie, Bailey Steele, Joshua Lawson, Ian Gray including special great-grandchildren John and Autumn Garland, all who mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Claude Medlin officiating. Burial will be in the Mills Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.
