Dorothy "Dottie" Gregory, age 76, of Corbin, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, at the UK Medical Center.
She was a retired chef from Cumberland Falls State Park and had also worked at the Holiday Inn in Corbin. She was a member of Eastside Tabernacle Church of God in Corbin.
She was preceded in death by her Daughter, Trudy Lynn Gregory; Parents, Charlie R. and Cordilla Carmack Moore; five Brothers, Edward, Frank, Jim, Johnny, and Oscar "Peanut" Moore; and three Sisters, Susie and Jeneva Moore and Rosie Bryant.
She is survived by her Husband, Harve Gregory Jr.; Two Daughters, Patty Hicks of Newcomb, TN; and Peggy Engle and husband Russell of Lily; Brother, Robert "Happy" Moore and wife Betty of Florence SC; four Grandchildren, Brandy Meehan and husband Kayvon; Wesley Hicks, Brian Engle and wife Vickie, Rusty Engle and wife Becky; seven Great Grandchildren; Grace, Praise, and Bella Meehan; B.A., Amber, Tori, and Alyson Engle; one Great Great Grandson Gavin Engle; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, February 7, 2010, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Lee and Rev. Jeff Draper officiating. Burial will follow in the McHargue Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Saturday, Feb. 6th, from 6-8pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
