Dorothy Mae Ball

Dorothy Mae Ball, 85, of Huntsville, Tennessee and formerly of Corbin, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at the Scott County Hospital in Oneida, Tennessee.
Born July 28, 1919 in Williamsburg, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late William Frank Ball and Laura Ellen Carr Ball. She was an assembly line worker during WWII for the Crosley Corporation in Cincinnati.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister.
Survivors include her brother, Ernest Ball of Silver Grove, Kentucky; three sisters-in-law, Ruby Ball of Corbin, Jewell Ball of Cincinnati, and Carolyn Ball of Covington, Kentucky. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Spice officiating. Burial will be in the Felts Chapel Cemetery. Family will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon Saturday until the funeral hour at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
