Dorothy McDonald

Dorothy McDonald, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 205, at Corbin Health and Rehabilitation.

She was born on February 12, 1943. Dorothy leaves us with a profound sense of loss and countless memories of her nurturing spirit. Dorothy was a woman of immense compassion, a trait that she channeled into her work as a self-employed caregiver. She loved her Cats, watching westerns, and working puzzles. 

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Stanley and Lily Shores, Son, Fred Thomas Brown Jr.; Brothers, Orville Shores, Tim Shores, Vernon Shores, and David Shore.; Sister, Evelyn Shores.

Dorothy is survived by her brother Charles Shores; Grandchildren, Brandon Brown, Lashauna Brown.; Sister-in-law Dorothy Shores; And by numerous nieces and nephews, and friends including LaVinia Johnson.

Dorothy's life may have concluded, but her legacy of love, loyalty, and kindness will forever be etched in the hearts of those she touched. 

Visitation for Dorothy McDonald will be on Monday, January 20, 2025, at 12:00 pm where her funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm. With Brother Nathan Ledford officiating 

Burial to follow at Locust Grove Cemetery, in Keavy, Kentucky
