Doug Lee

Doug Lee, age 67, of Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at his home.
He was born in Alva, Kentucky on January 15, 1938 to Levi and Lude Lee.
Mr. Lee was the owner/president of Harlan Heating and Cooling.
He was a graduate of the Blackstar High School and from Eastern Kentucky University. He was a teacher having begun his career at the Cawood Elementary School and later with the Harlan High School where he coached Basketball. He was also a High School Football Referee, a Member of the Howard Masonic Lodge in Baxter, and an avid golfer.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Levi Lee; a Grandson, Griffin Lee; and by a Brother, Jasper Lee.
He is survived by his wife, Jan Rose Miller Lee; his Mother, Lude Lee of Tullahoma, TN; Two Sons, Robb Lee and his wife Lisa of Louisville, and Dan Lee and his wife Krista of Knoxville, TN; Five Grandchildren, Hannah, Malone, Garrett, Ryan, and Anna Elizabeth Lee; Brother, Gifford Lee; Two Sisters, Hallie Cornelius of Whiting, IN, and Nell Maddle of Tullahoma, TN.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 11am at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Samples officiating. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens at Lily, Kentucky. Pall Bearers will be Don Adkinson, Mike Forester, Doug Sizemore, Jerry Winchester, Bill Douglas, Robert Owens, Morton Boggs, and Barry Byrns. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Russell Moses, Bill Pennington, David Hill, Ron Clouse, Jack Cloyd, and Richard Park.
Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Friday and on Saturday from 10am until the time of the service at 11am at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
