Doyle Truman Thomas

Doyle Thomas, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at Corbin Health and Rehabilitation.
Born in Fonde, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Raymond and Lizzie Thomas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Eddie Neal Thomas; sister, Helen Davis; and two brothers, Judie Thomas and Bill Conner.
Doyle is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ruth Wolfenbarger Thomas; sons, Roy Thomas and wife Faye and Dennis Thomas and wife Kathryn; grandchildren: Roy Thomas Jr., Dalina Stephens and husband Dave, Matthew Thomas and wife Nicole, and James Thomas and wife Charlene; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2pm on Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Wayne Gibson and Rev. Jerry Bussell officiating. Entombment will be in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm on Friday and from 12-2pm Saturday at the funeral home.
