Dwayne Garland

Dwayne Garland, 64, of Woodbine passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Baptist Health Corbin.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam and former employee of the Tri-County Assembly plant. He belonged to the Dowis Chapel Holiness Church and had played softball and enjoyed many sports.
Dwayne was predeceased by his parents Marion M. and Dora Ann Helton Garland; brothers James Allen, Norman, and Terry Garland; and sisters Shirley Patterson and Etta Sue Goley.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie Lou Garland; children Dora Garland, Melissa Vaughn, Bryan Partin, and Natasha Crumpler; stepsons Lee Douglas White and Wesley Clayton White; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; sisters Beverly Honeycutt, Margie Akins, and Doralee Garland; brothers Darrell and Bev Garland; and other family members and friends.
Dwayne's visitation will be 6 - 9pm Saturday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
His funeral will be held at 2 pm Sunday with Rev. Keaton Smith officiating. Military honors by the American Legion Post 88 honor guard will follow the service.
