Earnest 'Earn' Carter

Earnest "Earn" Carter, 69, of Barbourville went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, January 30, 2015. He was a farmer and of the Pentecostal faith.
He was preceded in death by a Daughter, Donna Smith; Parents, Steeley and Beulah Rapier Carter; Sister, Edna Jean Jones; Brothers, Arnold Carter, Everett Lee Carter and by an infant brother.
Survivors include his wife Brenda Rhymer Carter; his children James and wife Sherry, Beverly and husband Ronald, Lee and family, Marty and family, and Lisa and family; sisters Clita, Dorothy and Flora, and his brother James Alford, along with a host of friends and other relatives to mourn his passing.
Earnest's visitation will be 6-9 pm Sunday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin.
His funeral will be held at 2 pm Monday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Brother Ronald Shelton, Bro. Tony McVey, and Bro. Jerry Shumaker officiating..
Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery.
