Eddie Champlin

Eddie Champlin, 65, of Corbin, KY passed away Saturday morning, September 17, 2022 at Baptist Health Corbin.

Born in Corbin, he was a son of Margie Eaton Adkins and the late Orval Keith Champlin. He had been employed by the U.S. Postal Service.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother David Champlin, a sister Virginia "Jenny" Bingham, and his stepfather Luther Adkins.

Eddie is survived by his children: Jack Champlin, Josh Champlin and wife Angela, and Stephanie Champlin; grandchildren, Kayla Andres and husband Ray, Paxton Beck, Piper Beck, Parker Beck, Paige Collins and husband Austin, Peyton Champlin, Lexi Champlin, Kensley Champlin, and Karlie Champlin; great-grandchildren, Daniel Andres and Olivia Collins.

Additional survivors include his mother Margie Adkins and his siblings: Willie Champlin, Gary Champlin, Brian Champlin, Kimberly Hopkins, Steven Champlin, Karen Owens, and Cynthia Madden; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Bonnell officiating.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 pm on Thursday, September 22nd at Immanuel Baptist Church.
