Eddie Lynn Reeves, 61, of Woodbine, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2004 at his home.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Eaton Reeves of Woodbine; two sons, Eddie Lynn Reeves II of Lexington and Corey Lane Reeves of Woodbine; his mother, Beatrice Stewart Reeves of Cincinnati, Ohio; his sister, Betty Teague and husband Henry F. of Loveland, Ohio; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Woodbine Christian Church, Masonic Lodge 938 F&AM, retired from CSX as a railroad engineer and served with the 100th Division of U.S. Army Reserves.
The funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home chapel in Corbin with Brother David Legg officiating. Burial will follow in Sutton Cemetery in Wooddbine.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Selvy, Darrin Jackson, Tony Hoover, Damon Hood, Jody Botner, Scott Crook, Brian Rollins, Art Morvai and Andy Croley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Elza Tye, Jack Hall, James L. Gregory, Bobbie Lee McBurney, Harold Barton, Sr., Harold Barton Jr., Estle Partin, his nephews Shane Romines, Shawn Romines, Scott Eaton, Tim Stewart, Greg Stewart, Mike Stewart, Steve Miles, Kevin Miles and Nick Teague.
Visitation will be after 5:00 pm Tuesday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Croley Funeral Home of Williamsburg.
