Edith M. Bourque

Edith M. White Bourque, 90, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 in Rome, Georgia.
Born in Corbin, she was the daughter of the late Ed and Molly Pennington. She had been an office worker and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, David S. White and Roy Bourque; daughter, Patricia Karene Luginbill; three brothers: Lillard, Lonzo, and Leslie Pennington; and four sisters: Della Frazier, Lena Black, Geneva Lloyd, and Flora Smith.
She is survived by her son, Michael White and wife Dotty; three grandchildren: Shanna Horn, Sherri White, and Kevin Luginbill; five great-grandchildren: Kinley Horn, Allison Luginbill, Jack Luginbill, Emma Luginbill, and Lucy Luginbill; special friend, Carol Burnette; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Paula Farmer and Rev. Joe Kersey officiating. Burial will be in the Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 2pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
