Edith Marie Jones

Edith Marie Jones, age 63, of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday August 3, 2021 at Baptist Health in Corbin. She was born in Corbin, and was a former waitress with Cracker Barrel in Corbin. Edith was preceded in death by her parents, Lowell "Jack" Edward Davenport and Wanda Taylor Smallwood; two brothers, Richard Smallwood and Arland Taylor; and sister, Verla "Sue" Marlene Davenport.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur Lee Jones; children, George Jones and Michelle Jones; grandchildren, Lincoln Shelby and Autumn Shelby; siblings, Lettie Rose, Kathy Mullins, Teddy Smallwood, Jim Smallwood, Sharon Kay Lester, and Donald Ray Davenport; and by several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Edith Marie Jones will be from 11:00am until 1:00pm on Monday, August 9, 2021 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will follow at 1:00pm with Rev. Jim Cook officiating.
