Edith Muncy Bozarth

Edith Mildred Muncy Bozarth, age 94, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2005 at her home in Sarasota, Florida.
She was born July 25, 1911 in Clay County, Kentucky to the late William Luther Muncy and Laura Belle Cox Muncy. She was a longtime bookkeeper with the former St. Joseph Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, and retired from Strattan-Terestege in Louisville. She was a member of the Green Acres Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky for fifty years, and she was an associate member of the First Baptist Church in Sarasota.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one Brother, Maynard Muncy; Three Sisters, Cleo Cottongim, Mae Corum, and Clara Jones.
She is survived by her Son, Robert D. Bozarth and wife Janie of Sarasota, Florida; Daughter, Joan Gilbert and husband Tom of Crawfordsville, Indiana; Five Grandchildren, Casey Staggs of Louisville, Lt. Macey Bozarth and Lt. Cooper Bozarth both of San Antonio, Texas, Sharon Gilbert Epps of Tampa, Florida and Thomas Gilbert, Jr. of Frankenmuth, Michigan; One Niece Audra Sea of Willisburg, Kentucky.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 11 am until the time of the service at 1 pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, Corbin, Kentucky with Rev. Donald Randolph officiating.
Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery.
