Edna Audrey Middleton

Edna Middleton, 96, of Corbin, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007 at her residence.
She was born July 30, 1910 in Knox County to the late Tom and Ellen Owens Gross.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lockie James Middleton in 1945; son, Edgar Middleton; and daughter, Alta Faye Cobb.
She is survived by two sons, Leburn Middleton of Houston, Texas and Leland Middleton and wife Linda of Splendora, Texas; two daughters, Alma Hardin and husband Danny of Irvington, KY and Barbara Sutherland and husband John of Corbin; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends who will mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Claude Medlin officiating. Burial will be in the Brafford Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kermit "Butch" Hardin, Dale Jones, Tony Cobb, Kris Jones, Shawn Satterly, and Jason French, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Saturday, Feb. 10 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
