Edward Dewayne Disney

Edward Dewayne Disney, age 73, of Gray, passed away on Tuesday August 10, 2021 at Baptist Health in Corbin. He was born in Galesburg, IL, a son to the late Clifford Disney and Dorothy Shawgo Disney. Edward was a retired machine operator with Aisin Automotive and a US Army Veteran, having served in Vietnam. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Corbin. Edward is survived by his wife, Sylvia Barton Disney; children, Olga Shepherd (Tim), and Edward Disney Jr.; granddaughters, Julia Shepherd and Linda Shepherd; brothers, Clifford "Butch" Disney (Janice), Wesley Disney (Rita), Ray Disney (Maria), and Bobby Disney (Regina); sister, Laura Cima (Gino); and by several nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Thursday August 12, 2021 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rosary Devotions at 8pm on Thursday. Funeral Mass for Edward Disney will be celebrated at 11am on Friday August 13, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Corbin with Fr. Damian Anumba officiating.
