Elaine Causey

Elaine Causey, 63, of Corbin, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Baptist Health Corbin.
She was born on June 05, 1956 in Harlan, Ky to the late Coy and Edna Brock Mitchell. Elaine loved to cook, watch animal planet, work on puzzles, but most of all loved her family dearly.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three sisters, Janice Vazzana, Willa Mae Jones, and Lorette Mitchell.
Elaine is survived by three children, Joe Mitchell (Carol), Floyd Mitchell, and Rebecca Mitchell; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brothers, Arnold Mitchell and Clearance Mitchell; sisters, Dorothy Pyles and Fredia Burkhart; and a host of friends and relatives to mourn her passing.
Funeral service for Elaine Causey will be held at 2pm Sunday, December 01, 2019 at Vankirk~Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. A visitation period for friends and family will be from 12-2pm Sunday.
Pallbearers will be, Danny Scalf, Samantha Scalf, Marcus Shepherd, Spencer Brittan, Albert Farley, Jonathan Ramsey, and Jeff Causey.
