Elisha Bingham Scott

Elisha Bingham Scott, age 70, of North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2008, in Catawba Valley, NC.
He was a United States Marine Corp veteran and a member of the United Missionary Baptist Church in Claremont, NC.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Jesse and Didame Caudill Scott; brothers and sisters, and little heavenly angel, his great grandson, Tyler Huddleston.
He is survived by his two Daughters, Angela Cleary and husband Mike of Conover, NC, Mary Robinson and husband Rev. Alva Robinson of Barbourville; Son, Jason Scott and wife Thelma of Lily; five Grandchildren, Mark Shumate and wife Angela and Rebecca Huddleston all of Corbin, and Austin, Jacob, and Kaleb Scott of Lily; great granddaughter, Gabriella Shumate of Corbin; and by a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Relatives who will all mourn his passing.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25, 2008, from 12noon until the time of the funeral service at 2pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, with Bro. Alva Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the McFarland Cemetery in Corbin.
