Elizabeth Rummans Harris

Elizabeth Rummans Harris, age 98, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at The Heritage.
Born in Mays Lick, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Joel Dudley Rummans and Elizabeth Johnson Rummans, and had worked as a secretary in the accounting field.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Harris in 1951; and her sister, Anna Lucille Weimer.
She is survived by three children: Mary Elizabeth Garofalo, John Robert Harris, and James Douglas Harris; grandchildren: Kimberly Harris, Elizabeth Fitzgerald, Sarah Banks, John I. Harris, William Garofalo, Joel Harris, Diana Allen, and Mary E. Harris; and by nine great-grandchildren, all who mourn her passing.
Visitation will be held from 12 Noon to 1:00pm Saturday, October 20, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 20, at the St. John's Episcopal Church with Rev. Margaret Shanks officiating. Burial will be in the Rest Haven Cemetery.
